Basant panchami is important day .The goddess of knowledge and
speech is worshiped on this day.
Above is the Gyatri mantra of Saraswati.
The meaning of this mantra is “The mother saraswati who purifies
by fire of knowledge, who Nurtures and is bestower of prosperity by
imparting wisdom, please give success on our Undertaking.
This mantra appears in Mandal 1 Hymn 3 as mantra 10
